Welcome to the official terms and conditions for Ink Tyde custom tattoo studio. These guidelines govern your relationship with our artists and the overall studio experience. By booking an appointment or entering our premises, you agree to comply with all outlined studio policies. Our primary goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and highly professional environment for every client. We pride ourselves on delivering world-class custom body art tailored specifically to your vision. Please read through these terms carefully before scheduling your custom tattoo session with our team. We reserve the right to update these studio guidelines periodically to reflect industry standards. Your continued patronage of Ink Tyde signifies your acceptance of any future modifications to these policies.
Every custom tattoo journey at Ink Tyde begins with a mandatory design consultation with one of our resident artists. This initial meeting allows us to discuss your reference images, preferred style, and anatomical placement in detail. Clients must provide accurate and truthful information regarding their tattoo history and design expectations during this phase. We actively encourage open communication to ensure your final piece perfectly aligns with your creative vision. Artists will review the complexity of your request to determine the estimated timeline and required session hours. Walk-in appointments are subject strictly to artist availability and are generally reserved for smaller flash pieces. All consultations require a scheduled time slot to guarantee our artists can give your concept their undivided attention. We kindly ask that you arrive on time for your consultation to respect the schedules of our hardworking team.
Ink Tyde enforces a strict studio minimum rate to cover the high costs of premium sterile equipment and single-use supplies. While we provide pricing estimates during your consultation, these figures are subject to change based on the final design scale and detail. Hourly rates apply to large-scale projects like custom sleeves, full back pieces, and complex realistic portraits. Flat rates may be offered for smaller, pre-drawn flash art designs at the discretion of your specific artist. We believe in complete transparency regarding our pricing structure to ensure you are fully prepared for your investment. Payment for your tattoo session is due in full immediately upon the completion of the artwork. We accept cash and major digital payments to make the checkout process as smooth as possible. Any additional sessions required due to client design changes will incur extra charges at the standard hourly rate.
A non-refundable deposit is absolutely required to secure your tattoo appointment and compensate the artist for their drawing time. This deposit will be applied directly to the final cost of your tattoo upon completion of the final session. If you need to reschedule your appointment, we require a minimum of forty-eight hours of advance notice. Failure to provide adequate notice or failing to show up for your scheduled time will result in the total forfeiture of your deposit. Clients who arrive more than twenty minutes late to their appointment may lose their slot and their deposit entirely. We understand that emergencies happen, but our artists rely on a structured schedule to maintain their livelihood. A completely new deposit will be required to book a new date if your original deposit is forfeited. Multiple consecutive reschedules may result in the cancellation of your project at the discretion of the studio management.
Client health and safety remain the absolute highest priorities within the Ink Tyde studio environment. All clients must be at least eighteen years of age and present a valid government-issued photo identification prior to being tattooed. You are required to disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or medications that could impact the tattooing or healing process. We strictly prohibit the administration of tattoos on individuals who are pregnant, nursing, or currently undergoing heavy medical treatments. Clients must arrive at the studio sober, well-rested, and having eaten a nutritious meal within two hours of their appointment. Our artists will immediately refuse service to anyone appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or illicit substances. We utilize hospital-grade sterilization, single-use needles, and premium vegan inks to guarantee a pristine and safe procedure. By proceeding with your appointment, you acknowledge the inherent, normal risks associated with receiving a permanent body modification.
The custom designs crafted by our resident artists remain the exclusive intellectual property of Ink Tyde and the respective creator. We do not permit clients to take our custom sketches to other tattoo studios for execution under any circumstances. Our artists pour hours of dedicated creative energy into ensuring your bespoke design perfectly complements your unique anatomy. We will not copy another artist's custom tattoo directly, but we will gladly use your references to inspire a highly original piece. Final stencils are typically reviewed on the day of your appointment to allow for immediate, collaborative adjustments. Minor tweaks to the design are welcomed, but complete concept changes on the day of the appointment will require a rescheduled date. We reserve the right to photograph the finished tattoo for our digital gallery, physical portfolio, and studio marketing materials. You are always welcome to request that we omit your face or identifying features from these promotional photographs.
The long-term vibrancy and clarity of your new tattoo depend heavily on your strict adherence to our aftercare instructions. Ink Tyde provides detailed verbal and written aftercare guidelines at the conclusion of every single tattoo session. We highly recommend using only the specific fragrance-free soaps and breathable ointments approved by your artist. Clients must absolutely avoid submerging their fresh tattoos in swimming pools, oceans, baths, or hot tubs for at least three weeks. Picking, scratching, or peeling the healing skin will pull out the ink and cause permanent scarring that we cannot fix. Sun exposure is highly detrimental to fresh ink, so you must keep the area covered and protected during the healing phase. We offer one complimentary touch-up within three months of your appointment for tattoos that have been cared for properly. Touch-ups necessitated by client negligence, excessive sun exposure, or improper aftercare will be subject to our standard hourly fees.
Ink Tyde is a professional establishment that vehemently protects the peace, safety, and creative integrity of our entire staff. We maintain the absolute right to refuse service to any individual for any reason at our sole discretion. Disrespectful behavior, harassment, or aggressive conduct toward our artists, staff, or other clients will result in immediate removal from the premises. We will not execute tattoos containing hate speech, gang affiliation symbols, or culturally appropriative imagery under any circumstances. Artists may also decline a project if they feel the requested design will not translate well into a lasting, quality tattoo. If a client constantly changes their concept or fails to respect the artist's professional advice, we may choose to terminate the working relationship. Our goal is to ensure a collaborative, positive energy flows through every single project we take on in the studio. By adhering to these boundaries, we maintain a thriving, welcoming space where incredible custom art can truly flourish.
